About My Consultations
reciprocity * nourishment * inner guidance
If you are interested in tapping into complementary medicines and a holistic approach to health, specifically herbal medicine and traditional food ways, then I am an ideal resource for this part of your healing journey. Let me just emphasize that, along with my support, the level of your personal commitment to your healing journey will make our time together even more effective.
During the intake session (about an hour), we will clarify your main health challenges and how herbs, personal habits, and dietary shifts can assist you in finding balance once again. Through discussion, we will also arrive at points of awareness on where health concerns are also mirroring heart or soul concerns. If something surfaces in our discussion that pertains to such matters, it is very important to utilize this information as part of your overall healing protocol.
3-4 weeks after our first session, we will meet again for a follow-up assessment. Herbs typically take about 3 weeks to show how they are working, so meeting at least twice is necessary. After that, you will have 4 weeks in which you can contact me via phone or email for any further discussion.
I offer my services on a sliding scale basis and as a package of two visits with time allotted for follow-up phone calls and emails. Please see below for more information. And, if you would like to set up an appointment, please email me at maypop (at) riseup (dot) net.
“I have always believed, and I still believe, that whatever good or bad fortune may come our way we can always give it meaning and transform it
into something of value.”

“Again, thank you for listening, sharing and guiding me. You have a great ability to pull things out of your clients and mirror back to them what they already intuitively know they should be doing. And you do it in a gentle caring way. I feel you are a wonderful teacher, facilitator and mentor.”
~ Krista from Jackson, MS
“I saw your class over the weekend. In fact I was on staff for the SEWWHC for 9 years, up until this year when I took this job and stepped away. I was tasked this weekend with evaluating the new teachers at the event and reporting back to Renee. In short, I LOVED your alewife class. I thought you were inspiring and wonderful. Super excited about what you offer and how you offer it. Wanting more, more, more.”
~ Lee Warren, Executive Director of Organic Growers School, NC
“I have so much respect and attraction to your gentle and enthusiastic teaching style. A lot of people are going to be made fortunate by having a chance to learn about herbal medicine from you.”
~ Darrell Martin, Herbalist, Blue Boy Herbs, MS
“I just want to thank you a million times for your help. I’ve been following only part of what you recommended (avoiding the seven food items), and I’ve been walking and/or exercising about 1.5 hours each day. I’ve lost about 13 pounds in about one month, but even more exciting is that my mental clarity seems much, much better.”
~ Mary from Starkville, MS
“I had a very irregular and missing period before taking her Seasonal Intelligence course. Her caring advice and nurturing recipes have guided me back to a grounded, regularity. I am endlessly grateful for her influence on my relationship and clarity about right living.”
~ Linsey from Seattle, WA
